Zach's Fox Den

Where Families Find Shelter

About Zach's Fox Den

Zach's Fox Den was created to honor the memory of Zach — a young man whose courage and adventurous spirit touched everyone around him. When Zach was diagnosed with cancer, his family experienced firsthand the emotional and financial toll that a cancer diagnosis places on a family.

Our primary mission is providing direct financial assistance to parents of young adults (ages 18–30) undergoing cancer treatment who require extended hospital stays away from home. We help cover essential non-medical living expenses — temporary lodging, meals, transportation, and basic necessities — so parents can remain present and supportive during treatment.

Based in West Virginia with plans to expand nationwide, Zach's Fox Den is a place of shelter and support. The "Fox Den" represents safety, comfort, and community — a home base when the world feels uncertain. This is Zach's legacy, and we invite you to be part of it.

Family Support

Our Mission

Zach's Fox Den provides financial assistance and emotional support to families of young adults (ages 18–30) undergoing cancer treatment. Everything we do is guided by three core activities.

Family Support

Direct financial assistance for non-medical living expenses — lodging, meals, transportation, and basic necessities — so parents can stay by their child's side during extended hospital stays.

Hospital Referrals

Families and hospital social workers can submit requests for assistance through our application process. Each request is reviewed for eligibility, urgency, and alignment with our mission.

Community Awareness

Online donation campaigns, community events, merchandise featuring original artwork, and social media outreach to generate the resources necessary to support families in need.
